Celtic Manor Farm's AbbeyGale
We couldn't be happier with our new dog! Abbey had to deal with a lot of first's when we went and picked her out a couple of months back! Her first car ride (over 1,000 miles; her first time on a leash; her first time stuck in a box (that's how she would describe the car) with another breed of dog; first time inside a house; first time being away from her siblings!
It has taken Abbey a couple of months to really settle in and you'll notice she is still on a leash - 30 feet of leash but hooked up nevertheless - why?? ONLY because we are not yet fully fenced in and won't take the chance of a flock of birds attracting her attention away from us and having to chase her down (she is WAY TOO FAST). We'd expect she'll be 'tied to us' for another month or two, but we do let her leash trail along behind her rather than hold it in certain circumstances - like play time!
All the way around she is a fascinating and fabulous dog. We didn't know the breed before Abbey and are delighted to have met them!
